چکیده

Purpose: To explore the functions and regulatory mechanisms of synaptopodin-2 (SYNPO2) in cervical cancer progression.
Methods: Normal cell lines (Ect1/E6E7) (HeLa, SiHa, C-33A, CaSki) were cultured. The pcDNA3.1 vector overexpressing SYNPO2, a negative control (vector), blank (control) transfected into HeLa SiHa cells. Protein expression from normal was examined by western blot. Cell viability proliferation evaluated cells using Counting Kit-8 colony formation assays, while migration invasion assessed wound healing Transwell respectively. apoptosis determined flow cytometry.
Results: SYNPO2 decreased based on Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis website (p < 0.05). Additionally, Kaplan–Meier Plotter showed that patients with low worse prognoses than high Subsequent investigations revealed overexpression repressed proliferation, migration, 0.01). Furthermore, enhanced 0.001) increased sensitivity to cisplatin function Hippo pathway indicate inactivated 0.05).
Conclusion: Synaptopodin 2 represses growth enhances via pathway, thus indicating its potentials for development treatment cancer.

NHERF1 Enhances Cisplatin Sensitivity in Human Cervical Cancer Cells

Cervical cancer is one of the most common female malignancies, and cisplatin-based chemotherapy is routinely utilized in locally advanced cervical cancer patients. However, resistance has been the major limitation. In this study, we found that Na⁺/H⁺ Exchanger Regulatory Factor 1 (NHERF1) was downregulated in cisplatin-resistant cells. Analysis based on a cervical cancer dataset from The Cancer...

Silencing RIF1 decreases cell growth, migration and increases cisplatin sensitivity of human cervical cancer cells

Replication timing regulatory factor 1 (RIF1) plays an important role in DNA replication regulation, stem cell pluripotency and DNA repair pathway. However, little is known about the molecular mechanisms and physiological significance of RIF1 in cancer and chemotherapy efficacy. In this study, we found that RIF1 is upregulated in cervical cancer tissues compared with normal tissues both at mRNA...

Up-regulation of microRNA-664 inhibits cell growth and increases cisplatin sensitivity in cervical cancer.

BACKGROUND Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death in woman worldwide. In the present study, we investigated the role of microRNA 664 (miR-664) in regulating cancer migration and chemotherapy sensitivity in cervical cancer. METHODS Quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) was used to assess the mRNA levels of miR-664 in both cervical cancer cell lines and cancer tissues ...
